Melancholy Dancer (1 of 4)

I once wrote a song I titled Melancholy Dancer.  It has an ethereal bitter-sweet flavor to it.  I was thinking about it recently and decided to take a stab at generating an image for it using Ai.  Here’s the first of four iterations I was able to achieve.

Some AI Weirdness

I was trying to create a visual to go with one of the thousands of short quips from my book series, Snippets and Bits.  The particular quote was “Don’t take KNOW for an answer,” meaning that you shouldn’t just accept something as the truth on face value if you haven’t checked it out for yourself.

I Asked AI to give me a visual of people running away from the word, “Know,” and this is what it gave me – a surreal scene with the word “KOW.”  In fact, AI gave me four different images, each one more disturbing than the last!

Naturally, I’ll post them all here eventually so you can also be disturbed.  Personally, I think AI is dropping too much acid.

Dancing in the Rain

Dancing in the Rain - An image in the style of an animated feature for a story that doesn't exist. AI Art by Melanie Anne Phillips

Thought I’d see how I might use AI to create storyboard shots for animated cartoons, and came up with an idea of a fox dancing in a flood in the city.  I’m really quite impressed with how AI captured the specific prompts I employed to create what looks like a frame from an animated feature.  Much more to explore here.
