Dream Bigger: Fly in Style

Dream Bigger: Fly In Style - AI Art by Melanie Anne Phillips

Here’s image I cobbled together as a reminder that if we’re going to have dreams, there’s no reason to limit their scope.  “When pigs fly” is a dream for pigs, but beyond that, to fly as a unicorn, why not?

Just saw a commercial but wasn’t wearing my contact lenses and read, “Borax.”  Now that’s a brand I hadn’t seen advertised in 30+ years, so I looked closer and it was actually “Botox.”  But then I got to thinking, “20 Mule Team Botox” – what would that look like?  Thought I’d go off to AI and see how it envisioned that – perhaps a line of asses with smooth foreheads and expressionless eyes?

(Cobbled this picture together using AI – and it took a lot of different versions to get here.)

Puppy has lost his family

I was trying to create an image descriptive of a poem of mine, but couldn’t make AI give me what I wanted.  Still, this image is rather heart wrenching as it reads to me that all the members of a family died, and only the little puppy they had left at home survived with his loved ones never coming back.  Sheesh, that’s depressing.  But sometimes, I guess, art suggests itself, even if unbidden.

I got your blowtorch right here, ma’am…

So my son came over with his family yesterday to visit his koi in the back yard. He keeps them in a pond I dug for him by hand because he had to move from the home he owned into another town for business and couldn’t take his beloved fish with him.

(Man this is a long set-up for the picture, and probably nor worth the getting there.  But since we’re already halfway in…)

I have four grandsons altogether, two of which are my son’s.  The younger one was playing with some Hot Wheels and such that Mary keeps here for them.

She wrote this about it on Facebook yesterday to her friends:

“So the younger grandson took the car he was playing with and dunked it into his ice cream!!!!”

She got a few laughing emoticons, and replied to those reactions, thusly:

“No not funny.  Now my red camp chair needs a blowtorch to get clean!!!”

Read it this morning and ran right off to AI to create the picture you see here, with the caption above.

So now you understand where my ideas come from and how art is made around here.

Totally worth the long explanation, right?
