Mary, Mindi, and Keith in the 1980s

Taken at our rented home on Mariposa Street. We were there for many years before the landlady decided to move in and kicked us out. It was a pretty good house. Similar to the one I grew up in and probably built as part of the same development.

Nice older plants in the front yard, really large Elm trees lining the street and a middle school right across the street.

There was a two car garage in back and the large yard has walls of brick with ivy. There was also a single room granny house about 8 x 10 feet behind the garage – a cute little cottage – and I used it for my office and editing room for video.

Wish we could have stayed.

Cliff on the Rocky Knoll

Our travelling companion, Cliff, on top of the Rocky Knoll that rose several hundred feet above out camp site along the John Muir Trail on our 2019 section hike from Red’s Meadow to Gladys Lake, Rosalie Lake, Shadow Lake, and then down to connect to the River Trail and back near Red’s Meadow at Agnew Meadow. From there, took the bus back to Mammoth Mountain Inn where our adventure had begun.
