"I, Freudius"

From: Russell A. Cardwell (wbroadwy@SWBELL.NET)

Putting Freud and Berne into Dramatica, and spitting out a Subjective Story Character Report, it gave me this:

. . . To start with, Sigmund Freud is primarily Concerned with a fixed attitude in regard to The Subconscious, while Eric Berne's chief Concern is a situation of The Future. Clearly, they are not concerned with the same things.

Sigmund Freud evaluates The Subconscious in terms of Dream and Hope. In contrast, Eric Berne measures his concern with The Future by how it relates to Choice and Delay.

If they were to argue, Sigmund Freud might say, "We must not be driven because of our Dream." To which Eric Berne might respond, "No, we must focus on what will happen or be because of Choice." . . .

Of course, many other arguments will occur between Sigmund Freud and Eric Berne involving not only Dream vs. Choice but Hope vs. Delay as well. And, they will argue as to whether The Subconscious or The Future is of more concern. . . .

In summary, Sigmund Freud and Eric Berne fail to see eye to eye. While Sigmund Freud is concerned with a fixed attitude in regard to The Subconscious, Eric Berne's chief concern is a situation of The Future. Sigmund Freud looks at The Subconscious as it relates to Dream and Hope, but Eric Berne is more interested in how The Future relates to Choice and Delay. Each strives to press their point home: Sigmund Freud bolstered by his abilities involving Denial (though held back by Responsibility), and Eric Berne relying on his strengths in regard to Preconception (though he too is held back, undermined by Morality). When the smoke clears, success has been achieved in the objective story, but Sigmund Freud has failed to resolve his personal problems.

While it's certainly no definitive analysis, it's quite impressive output for a computer program. Amusing, at least. It would be interesting to put people you know into this thing and see what it says.
