Extending Main Character Dilemma – Act Two
In act two the Main Character may often become more frenzied or unsettled in regard to his or her personal moral dilemma. Situations will arise where it is impossible for the Main Character to avoid confronting this dilemma. He or she may also grapple with a degree of personal anguish or frustration over the conflicting value standards in play.
Select from the examples of the Main Character Dilemma you have already created in the Exposition Stage (and/or create some new ones) that will illustrate how pressure grows on your main character that makes it more uncomfortable to avoid choosing a side and more difficult to continue to satisfy both.
