I loathe love songs, with a few exceptions. I\u2019m more interested in quirky ideas and odd perspectives. I suppose, \u201cShe Thinks My Tractor\u2019s Sexy\u201d is my ideal of a love song, or maybe \u201cLola.\u201d Who the hell likes both of those?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Well, this one\u2019s all schmaltzy and innocent and young (I was only about 18 and na\u00efve as a newborn when I wrote it) \u2013 one of those shy introspective kids who led a sheltered life but tried hard to be all cool and \u201cwith it\u201d but hadn\u2019t a clue what that was. As Ziggy once put it, \u201cEvery time I figure out where it\u2019s at, somebody moves it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Oh, and Judy? I can\u2019t even remember who she is\/was or whether I ever told her about the song, or whatever happened to her.
